After nearly a decade of working remotely, I felt a quiet pull to pause — to breathe, to recharge, and to simply be present. In March 2024, I began a sabbatical, a season of stillness and rediscovery. I wanted to spend more time with my daughter before she left for college, and to reconnect with the parts of myself that had been quietly waiting beneath years of projects, meetings, and deadlines.
During this time, I returned to learning — something that has always grounded me. I explored front-end development and product management more deeply, revisiting the bridge between design and technology that has long fascinated me. Through courses like Generative AI for UI/UX Design and Vibe Coding, I discovered new ways to design with AI — faster, smarter, and more intuitively human. Those moments of experimentation reminded me why I fell in love with design in the first place: its power to simplify the complex and bring ideas to life with clarity and heart.
I'm a planner by nature and a traveler at heart. I find joy in crafting thoughtful paths — in life, in work, in collaboration. I believe good design, like good partnership, begins with empathy. It's about helping people grow, creating space for connection, and finding meaning in the process. For me, design isn't just what I do; it's how I see the world — with curiosity, care, and quiet determination to make it a little more beautiful.
